Backing up a whole machine using Rsync, without root-login

For easy cut-n-paste:

rsync --stats -av --exclude={"/dev/*","/proc/*","/sys/*","/tmp/*","/run/*","/mnt/*","/media/*","/lost+found","*/.cache/*"}  -e "ssh" --rsync-path="sudo rsync" This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.:/ vimes_rsync

The cute trick here is to call rsync as 'sudo rync'.
